Welcome to 8th grade!

AboutAbout (es) Mrs. Cynthia Martinez

I have always loved history and understating the human experience past and present. I studied political science at California State University, Northridge and received my Masters in Education from DePaul University, Chicago.

I have been a teacher in the district for over 17 years.

It is my hope that all my students learn the skills they need to take charge of their education and become life long learners. I am also very passionate about teaching future generations the importance of citizenship and community. I love History and believe by studying the choices and decisions of the past, students can confront today’s problems and choices with a deeper awareness.

I was born and raised in East Aurora, and still live here today with my husband and two kids .
