Parent Newsletter - December 7Boletín Informativo para padres - 7 de diciembre

Hello FRMA families:

Our December Coffee with the Principal is set for Tuesday, December 19 in the LRC from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Please fill out this survey to let us know if you are attending this event.
Some parents have suggested that visitors bring a snack to share for our December meeting. If you are interested in participating, (not mandatory) please fill out that part of the survey or let Parent Liaison, Leslie Hernandez, know ahead of time at: (630) 299-7177 or lhernandez@d131.org

Join the African American Parent Association (AAPA) as it continues to grow a caring community among African American parents and guardians of District 131 students. The goal is to discuss topics unique to African American students, share information, and provide opportunities to bridge the connection between school and family.

All AAPA meetings will be held from 5:30-6:30 PM in person or virtual. Please visit www.d131.org/aapa for meeting information.

Also, the Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BPAC) will be meeting at the Belle Salle Banquets that morning of Thursday, 12/21 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Don’t forget to sign in at the front by checking the FRMA box on the sheet.If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Rita Guzman, Director of Language Acquisition at: rguzman@d131.org

Nuestro Café con el Director para Diciembre está programado para el Martes, de Diciembre 19 en el LRC de 10 am – 11 am. Por favor llene esta encuesta para dejarnos saber si planea asistir a este evento. Algunos padres han sugerido que los visitantes traigan un bocadillo para compartir en nuestra reunión de Diciembre. Únase a la Asociación de Padres Afroamericanos (AAPA) mientras continúa desarrollando una comunidad solidaria entre los padres y tutores afroamericanos de los estudiantes del Distrito 131. El objetivo es discutir temas exclusivos de los estudiantes afroamericanos, compartir información y brindar oportunidades para tender un puente sobre la conexión entre la escuela y la familia.
