FRMA families,

It seems like only yesterday the staff at Fred Rodgers were anxiously awaiting the arrival of students for the 23-24 school year; now, we are almost halfway through the school year. As you plan to enjoy the holidays, please keep these announcements in mind:

FRMA Office Closed
Over the winter break, our school will be closed to visitors from December 22nd until January 8th. Main office staff will be off site due to a construction project but will be available by phone from 7:30-3:30 p.m. January 2nd through January 5th at 630-299-7175.

Student Volunteering
Several families have inquired about opportunities to volunteer in the community. Below are several local organizations that accept community volunteers:

December Parent Coffee Information Posted
In case any parents wanted to come to this week’s Coffee with the Principal but couldn’t, the presentation of this month’s topic on Standardized Testing is now available on our school website. See presentation link here.

East Aurora Dads Meeting
There will be an East Aurora Dads meeting on Thursday, January, 11, from 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. in the Administrative Center at 310 Seminary Ave. Aurora, IL. Enter through Door 4. If you have any questions, please contact Mariza Martinez at: (630) 299-7313 or mmartinez02@d131.org

Hola familias de FRMA:

Parece que fue ayer cuando el personal de Fred Rodgers esperaba ansiosamente la llegada de los estudiantes para el año escolar 23-24; ahora, ya casi estamos a la mitad del año. Mientras ustedes planean disfrutar de las fiestas, tengan en cuenta estos anuncios:

Oficina de FRMA Cerrada
Durante las vacaciones de invierno, nuestra escuela estará cerrada a los visitantes a partir del 22 de Diciembre hasta el 8 de Enero.
