On February 8, students at Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy attended a celebration organized by the American School Bus Council. The event celebrated the importance of the yellow bus in education, and allowed us to share our gratitude with some of the school bus drivers who safely transport our children to and from school.
School Board President Annette Johnson and Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Norrell personally thanked our bus drivers, handing out gifts of appreciation to the drivers for their work in keeping our students safe. Students received t-shirts, heard a spirited presentation from guest speaker A.L.Reeves, and enjoyed a really cool visit from “Buster” the School Bus.
Thank you to the American School Bus Council for hosting an amazing party! What a fun morning for our Pumas, and what a great opportunity to thank our dedicated bus drivers!
