FRMA Yearbook Cover Competition DeadlineFecha Límite para la Competencia para el Diseño de la Portada del Anuario Escolar de FRMA

Calling all artists!  It’s time to design a cover for our 2018-2019 yearbook. The winning entry will appear on the front cover! The entries of the runner-up covers may appear on the back cover of the yearbook.

 Submit art on:

  1. 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper or digital medium (see Ms. Moy for info)
  2. Vertical orientation

 

All entries:

  1. Must include the words “Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy” and state the school year “2018-2019”.
  2. Depict the theme: “FRMA Spirit.”
  3. Can include your interpretation of our mascot, the puma (optional).
  4. Must be turned in to Ms. Moy in the LRC no later than Friday, October 26th.
  5. Write your full name and your grade in *pencil* on the BACK of your entry

 Tips for a successful entry:

  1. Not a lot of white space – use lots of color (including background)
  2. Use bold colors!  You may use crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, or any other medium to draw and color.
  3. Use up the whole sheet of paper.  Keep what’s important in the design (ie: our school name) away from the paper edges to avoid the artwork being cut in the trim process.

 

Entries due by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26th, 2018.  Sorry, no late entries will be accepted.

Please make sure to add the student/artist name on the back of the artwork in pencil.  Do not include your name or any other personal identifiers to the front of your artwork.

 

We will do our best to return artwork submissions but we cannot guarantee it.

 ¡Un llamando a todos los artistas! Es hora de diseñar una portada para nuestro libro del año escolar 2018-2019. ¡El diseño ganador aparecerá en la portada! Los diseños de las cubiertas de finalistas pueden aparecer en la contraportada del libro.

 Enviar arte en:

  1. Hoja de papel o medio digital de 8.5 x 11 (ver a Ms. Moy para obtener información)
  2. Orientación vertical

 

Todos los diseños:

  1. Debe incluir las palabras “Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy” e indicar el año escolar “2018-2019”.
  2. Representa el tema: “Espíritu FRMA”.
  3. Puede incluir interpretación personal de nuestra mascota, el puma (opcional).
  4. Debe entregarse a Ms. Moy en el LRC a más tardar el Viernes 26 de octubre.
  5. Escribir nombre completo y nivel de grado con * lápiz * en el REVERSO de la hoja

 Consejos para una participación exitosa:

  1. No dejar mucho espacio en blanco: usar mucho color (incluido el fondo)
  2. ¡Usa colores fuertes! Pueden usar crayones, marcadores, pinturas, lápices de colores o cualquier otro medio para dibujar y colorear.
  3. Usa toda la hoja. Mantener centrado lo que es importante en el diseño (es decir, el nombre de nuestra escuela) lejos de los bordes del papel para evitar que la ilustración se corte en el proceso de ajuste.

 

Entregar los diseños a más tardar a las 12:00 p.m. el Viernes 26 de Octubre de 2018. Lo sentimos, no se aceptarán las entregas después de la hora límite.

Por favor, asegurarse de incluir el nombre del estudiante / artista en la parte posterior de la obra de arte con lápiz. No incluir nombre ni ningún otro identificador personal al frente de su obra de arte.

 

Haremos todo lo posible para devolver los trabajos de arte, pero no podemos garantizarlo.
