Dear Magnet Academy Families, 

The health and safety of our staff and students is our highest priority. In the past few days we have had an increase in the number of reported absences related to Influenza A and Gastro illnesses. In order to maintain our students and staff health, and to deep clean our facility, we will have remote learning on Friday, January 31st for all Fred Rodgers Magnet students.

At 9:30 AM, students will check in with their first hour teacher or class of the day for 30 minutes. At that time, students will receive further direction for the day regarding asynchronous learning assignments. Teachers are asked to have office hours and be available for students who need assistance from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM via Google Classroom.

Grab and go lunches will be available from 12 to 1 p.m. through door 9. All staff will work remotely, with the exception of our Building and Grounds staff who will be on site.

Estimados Padres, 

La salud y la seguridad de nuestro personal y estudiantes es nuestra máxima prioridad. En los últimos días hemos tenido un aumento en la cantidad de ausencias reportadas relacionadas con la influenza A y la enfermedad gastrointestinal.

Para mantener la salud de los estudiantes y el personal y limpiar profundamente a la escuela, tendremos aprendizaje remoto el viernes 31 de enero para todos los estudiantes de la Escuela Fred Rodgers Magnet.A las 9:30 a. m., los estudiantes se registrarán con su maestro de la primera hora por 30 minutos. Los estudiantes recibirán más instrucciones para el día con respecto a las tareas de aprendizaje asincrónico. Se les pide a los maestros que tengan horario de oficina y estén disponibles para los estudiantes que necesiten ayuda de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00de la manana y de 1:00 p. m. a 2:00 de la tarde a través de Google Classroom.

Los almuerzos para llevar estarán disponibles de 12 a 1 p. m. a través de la puerta 9.

Todo el personal trabajará de forma remota, con la excepción de nuestro personal de Building & Grounds.
